Lil Wayne Covers Vibe
Rapper Lil Wayne covers Vibe Magazine and speaks on his Artist Drake and his lines towards his idol Jay-Z on "It's Good," a song on "The Carter IV," which features Rappers Drake and Jadakiss.
See what he had to say below.....
VIBE: You say competition is for the “old guys,” but it sounds like you’re going at Jay-Z with that line, “I got your baby money/Kidnap your bitch, get that how-much-you-love-your-lady money.” Are we looking at it the wrong way?
LIL WAYNE: I know for a fact, music is about perception. You can’t do anything but perceive what you hear. If I know that for a fact, I can never be upset about someone’s reaction to it. I’m not gonna say I don’t know what will happen before I say it [on record]. I do know what will happen. I am aware of it. It is what it is.
VIBE: You mentioned how humbled you were at the success of “She Will.” Drake, who wrote and performs the song’s chorus, has now become a platinum star in his own right. Do you look at the guy and say, “Wow, I helped create a monster, I have to stay on my toes”?
LIL WAYNE: I don’t look at it like that. Drake is my artist. If he wasn’t my artist, then yeah maybe. But that’s my artist. He’s not [just] a friend. We’re more than friends. It’s business. It would be impossible for it to be a competition. I mean, I’m the guy’s boss.

Review: Basketball Wives L.A.
I was never a fan of the whole "Basketball Wives," show. Some of them aren't even married. They are either jump-offs or ex girlfriends of basketball players. Very few of them actually wed a baller. But when I read an article with Shaunie O'Neal, the show's producer and ex-wife of baller Shaquille O'neal, I was interested in getting a peek of Basketball Wives L.A. This is maily because Karrine Steffans aka "Superhead," who has written a book about her and Shaq's love life is supposed to be making an appearance on the show. This show is pure comedy at it's best! Fiance of Lakers Forward Matt Barnes, Gloria, (they've been engaged forever and called the wedding off once already) invites a pretty young thing Draya Michele (ex-stripper, jump-off, groupie) to meet her other BBW friends. The women all have a hard time excepting Draya, because she probably screwed one or two of their men. LOL..Basically the show is all about DRAYA, DRAYA, DRAYA. She's a hottie, so it's good for their ratings. See latest episode below.

Jay-Z Takes the Nets to Brooklyn!
Rapper/Mogul Jay-Z can't be stopped as he stated on his latest album, "Watch the Throne!" If you listen on "Niccas in Paris," he clearly stated that he would be making this move. "We moving the Nets to B.K," he spews in a verse. Well today he announced that the New Jersey Nets will move to Brooklyn in February of 2012 and will re-named the Brooklyn Nets. He will perform 8 concerts at the Barclay Center, the Nets new Brooklyn home in anticipation to the move. He's had this in his plans for some time now, because this wasn't the first time he mentioned it. The move will provide thousands of jobs for the Brooklyn area, where Jay-Z grew up just minutes away in the Marcy Housing Projects.
